We were dying to ask Dexter all things Maze Runner, from new movies spoilers to his all-time favorite memories with the cast. Trust us, Dexter’s answers did not disappoint. Ready for the best part? Popmania: Your new film Maze Runner: The Death Cure is out soon, tell us about that!
DD: It’s going to be awesome! It’s the third and FINAL installment to a franchise that people have been following for some time. This movie answers all the questions that people have and takes the action to a whole new level.

Popmania: What are you most excited for fans to see in this new film?
DD: I’m excited for fans to see the growth in the characters! The brotherhood and family aspect is back in this film, and that’s one thing I felt people missed in the second film.

Popmania: Is there a fun fact that fans would be surprised to learn about this new movie?
DD: There are a lot of surprises in this one! Things you may have thought have happened, or people who you thought were bad may surprise you with their motives in this one.

Popmania: What would you guys do when you weren’t busy filming?
DD: Just hang out, make dinners, play video games and listen to music. We would often jam together and make music together!

Popmania: Would you do more Maze Runner films in the future??
DD: Absolutely!!

Perfect In Plaid: Although plaid shirts are always a fall closet staple, Dove took it to a whole other level in this look. She paired a black and white plaid ensemble together for a chic grunge style. This is such a hard look to pull off but the Descendants 2 star made it work perfectly.

Colorful Smokey Eye: Dove’s beauty style is just as iconic as her fashion looks. She loves trying out new and interesting makeup that matches her quirky fashion. Dove decided to take a risk and play with a smokey eye featuring purple hues in this picture. This is totally different from a regular smokey eye and something we could see everyone trying out on the red carpet!

Bold Jewelry: Big and bold jewelry is back according to Dove Cameron! Her super amazing necklace is perfect for literally any outfit you can think of. Plus her heart-shaped sunglasses are giving us major emoji feels.

Throwback Thursday is hands down our favorite day of the week. Here’s what we’re listening to this week.

“This Is Me,” by Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas: Demi sang about “Confidence” before the actual song came out. This track was perfect for Demi’s voice featuring her signature rock ‘n’ roll vibes. When Joe joined her for the ultimate duet, we were blown away.

“So Yesterday,” by Hilary Duff: This song off Hilary’s debut album Metamorphosis is still the best breakup song ever. Hilary’s voice sounds incredible in this power ballad filled with emotional lyrics. The lyrics really spoke about the process of getting over someone you like.

“Burnin’ Up,” by The Jonas Brothers: We wanted to be true rock stars like the Jonas Brothers after we heard this song. With Nick’s insane falsetto and Joe’s raspy voice, they were a match made in heaven for the track. This was just the start of our insane Jonas Brothers crush that is still here to this day.

“Hoedown Throwdown,” by Miley Cyrus: The Hannah Montana Movie featured epic songs and even more epic dance scenes. This song was our favorite of the entire movie! We even took the time to try and learn the dance moves for the song so we could dance along during the scene.

“Sneakernight,” by Vanessa Hudgens: Vanessa showed just how amazing her vocals were in every High School Musical song. When she started her solo career, this song proved it all over again. The hip-hop beat in the song is infectious and gets you dancing. When this song came on, we always tied on our light-up sneakers up, then sang and danced our hearts.

Casual Camila: A nice walk around Los Angeles has never looked so glam. A crop top and joggers were Camila’s pick for a beautiful day outside paired with a long cardigan and bright red sunglasses. Although this look is super simple and casual, Camila still looks like a total rock star with the rainbow road behind her!

A Star And Stripes: New York had a shining star in their city when Camila came to visit. She wore an incredible matching navy suit featuring bold white stripes. Her matching white heels looked so good paired with the stunning outfit. We have to admit — Camila is really the queen of making casual look super luxurious.

Red Vixen: Camila loves to take the opportunity to go for a fashion risk! The “Havana” singer wore the most incredible red cardigan and matching leather boots we are obsessed with. By adding an all white outfit and taupe accessories, Camila looked like an absolute super star.

2) “Somebody To You” No, you guys don’t even understand HOW amazing this music video is. The beach… the boys… DEMI LOVATO… could it get any better?!

3) “Wake Up” This music video is WAY too cool. Seriously, the guys are jumping off roofs and doing all sorts of SUPER cool stunts. We’re happy none of their beautiful faces were hurt in the making of this vid!

4) “Rest Your Love” Seriously the coolest video. It’s basically like a full on costume dance party and it looks SO FUN. We wish we could have gotten to be a part of it! We would have loved dancing along with our fave boys in a circus costume!

Dove Cameron is one of our favorite celebrities for so many reasons. Not only is she talented and beautiful, she’s wise beyond her years. She always reaches out to fans about their feelings and it’s exactly why her fanbase is so strong. Just when we thought we couldn’t love Dove more, she opened up to a fan going through a hard time about the importance of crying — here’s what she said.

The Liv and Maddie star posted their convo on Instagram and it’s filled with valuable advice. “In terms of what I do when I’m sad: crying will always help. It releases a stress hormone. It’s medical. Next up, turn off all electronics, no social media, take off your shoes, take off your makeup, wear something loose-fitting that you feel good in (something soft) and eat good food. Don’t look in the mirror. Don’t drink caffeine. Sleep as much as you can. And spend time in natural light. Sunlight will heal you.”

Dove went on to urge the fan to seek the love of friends and family. “And then talk to people and hold eye contact as much as you can. So much of your sadness (you will find) comes from isolation. We, as a society, don’t realize how isolated we have become from one another. It causes depression and anxiety and leads to a lifetime of loneliness. And we don’t even realize, because everyone is going through it! So: as boring as it sounds, talk to people as much as you can. Family and friends included. You’ll find that your brain will start to lace itself back together overtime.”

“Photograph” — Remembering the good ole days is one of the most important parts of the healing process. Ed perfectly put this message into his lyrics for this song. “Where our eyes are never closing, hearts were never broken, and time’s forever frozen still,” he sings in the chorus of the tune. We can’t help but totally fall in love with these lyrics to remember the good times instead of the bad.

“The A-Team” — Ed taught us to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel with this amazing song. Although things may not be perfect right now, they will be eventually. He really knows how to make any scenario an absolutely beautiful one.

“Lego House” — Singing about healing our broken hearts has us swooning all over again. The British singer opened up about helping someone with a broken heart to become whole again in this song. We will just be here pretending he is singing to us every time we listen to it.

“Make It Rain” — One of Ed’s earlier songs is perfect for a day cuddled up in bed while it rains outside. The soulful song features a blues and soft rock feel that results in the most amazing emotional performance. Not only is the musicality of the song absolute perfection, adding a blues guitar and Ed’s incredible vocals completes the fabulous song.

Selena Calling Off Her Revival Tour: We did not see this coming when it happened. The Revival Tour was the hottest tour of the year, so you can imagine our surprise when Sel called it off after a couple months. But the babe is back and better than ever with songs like “Wolves.”

The Taylor/Kim Feud: Ugh, Taylor Swift and Kanye West have been the most exhausting story of the 21st century. They go from friends to frenemies faster than Kim Kardashian changes up her look. That’s why the Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian call earned a spot on our craziest music moments list.

3. Go to the pool — Going to the pool is always a classic. You can get tan with your besties, enjoy the warm weather that summer always brings, and discuss the latest scandal you witnessed while watching Riverdale earlier in the day. Plus, you can take some cute Insta pics and get hella likes. It’s a win-win situation.

4. Try out a new workout from one of your favorite stars — All our favorite stars take to social media, like Instagram and Snapchat, to post some of their workouts. We’re big fans of Kira Kosarin’s workout Insta page, where she posts her progress and some of her favorite workouts.

2. All of Veronica’s retro outfits — Veronica clearly has her own style and doesn’t care what others think of her. We love that attitude here at Popmania. She does her own thing, wears what she wants, and doesn’t let anybody get her down. We literally can’t get over how elegant her signature pearl necklace is.

3. The fabulous prom dresses — We almost died when we saw Betty’s gorgeous baby blue prom dress, Popmaniacs. She looked majorly stunning. But don’t think we forgot about Veronica’s prom dress either. She is slaying in her all black everything ensemble. Not to mention that her dress is covered in sparkles. Obsessed.

4. Cheryl Blossom’s little black dress — Bad gal Cheryl Blossom is famously known to have the best style of anyone. She’s always dressed to impress. And boy, does she impress us! We’re loving her little black dress with a maroon collar and matching maroon heeled boots.

5. Josie and the Pussycats — These ladies were constantly slaying in their outfits during the first season. We literally wanted to own everything they wore. No joke! With Josie always looking retro chic, Valerie combining hipster with punk rock, and Melody owning it in her leather jacket, these ladies were the best dressed trio at Riverdale High School.
