We are freaking out, because pop group Why Don’t We just released their new EP! We have been loving the music from their last EP, Only The Beginning which came out late last year. But we are so excited to have five new songs on Something Different.

The songs on the EP include “Tell Me,” “Made For,” “Air of the Night (Smooth Step),” “Never Know” and “Something Different.” The group’s unique sound uses great pop beats, guitar and strong vocals to create a whole new music experience.

We love every one of their new songs. “Something Different” and “Air of the Night (Smooth Step)” are both catchy dance tunes you can play during a party with all your friends! “Tell Me” is a little sweeter, about trying to get to know a girl better. “Made For” is a track that is a little slower and super sincere and “Never Know” is a cool acoustic song that has a sound all its own. Basically, WDW just put out our favorite EP of 2017!

To celebrate the EP’s release, the group posted a little video to Twitter introducing it to the world. “We’re so proud of it, we hope you’re enjoying it,” said Daniel in the video. Other members of the group posted about the release:”I seriously can’t believe that we just dropped our second EP,” Zack captioned on Insta. “It’s such a dream come true. I couldn’t be more happy with this music and couldn’t thank you guys enough for everything!”

We’re so glad to see that Why Don’t We is still hard at work making music. We hope to see music videos for these songs soon! But we can’t help but wonder: now that Why Don’t We has released a full set of music from their two EPs, does that mean they might be going on tour soon?! We sure hope so!

Can Music Wednesday please be a thing?! R5 just took to their Instagram to give a MAJOR new music surprise to their fans and it’s giving us life. The babes have been teasing their new album New Addictions like crazy, but today reached new heights. The band posted not just one, not just two, but three whole song teasers on Insta! You might want to take a seat before we go any further, because it only gets better and better.

R5 shared three tracks off of their upcoming New Addictions album: “Lay Your Head Down,” “Red Velvet,” and “IF.” The full length album doesn’t come out until May 12, so we’re beyond psyched to have these teasers to hold us over until then.

These tracks are seriously ahmazing. “Red Velvet” is a total rock ‘n roll love song, “IF” is ultra funky, and “Lay Your Head Down” has a bluesy retro feel. We have a feeling that New Addictions will have a song for every different type of mood. Basically, it’s destined to be the best album ever. How could it not be with spoilers like these??

Along with the song teasers, R5 also released mini video clips to accompany each song! We can’t help but wonder — are these sneak peeks of the music videos?! We fell in love with the entire Girl Meets World cast when the show first premiered on June 27, 2014. Every week, we looked forward to seeing what Riley, Maya and the rest of the cast would get into. GMW instantly became our favorite show as it handled a variety of really important topics in a poignant and always hilarious way. Our hearts broke when the show aired it’s final episode on January 20 of this year — and we’re feeling the sorrow all over again. It was just announced that Girl Meets World will not be returning. Read the announcement here:

After the show was cancelled by Disney Channel, showrunner Michael Jacobs was on a diehard quest to find another channel or streaming service (like Netflix) to pick back up the show. But unfortunately, he couldn’t find a new home for the series. “I wasn’t able to find a new venue for the show. I’m sorry. We brought our best and hope we made you think and feel. Until next time. Thanks,” Michael Jacobs tweeted from the show’s writers account. Cue huge, sobbing, ugly cries from the Popmania office.

As they say, all good things must come to an end. We just can’t believe how soon GMW had to end! Look on the bright side — we still have three whole seasons of amazing episodes to rewatch over and over again. We sincerely hope that we get to see the cast reunite in the future, whether it’s on another TV series or just for fun.

“Rumour Has It” — As much as we love Adele for her heartfelt ballads, we’re obsessed with the total sass of this song. This 2011 single gives us life even to this day.

“Set Fire To The Rain” — Does everyone else sing this song to themselves every single time it rains? Or is it just us? “Set Fire To The Rain” is still one of Adele’s most famous tracks even though it was released back in 2011.

“Hello” — Adele legitimately broke the internet when she released “Hello” in 2015. Not only did this song top the radio charts, but it also launched hundreds of memes… that we shamelessly still use to this day.

“Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” — We didn’t think it was possible to write a breakup song that made people want to dance, but somehow Adele did the impossible. We played this song all of 2016 long (and still haven’t stopped.)

“Water Under The Bridge” — This is Adele’s most recent single and one of our all-time favorites. We still get excited when we hear it on the radio. We can’t wait to see what her next single is!

We’re counting down the seconds until R5 releases their highly anticipated New Addictions EP on May 12. The band has already released snippets from all five songs and it’s giving us life. There’s no denying that Ross, Rocky, Rydel, Riker Lynch and Ellington Ratliff have adopted a brand new sound and we’re loving it so far. It turns out, there’s a reason why the songs on New Addictions sound completely different from Sometime Last Night — there’s a different formula that they were made under! Here’s the story behind one of the main songs from the EP…

It turns out that Rocky tried to get Ross to sing the lead vocals on “Lay Your Head Down,” but Ross refused! In an interview with JustJaredJr, Rocky told the story behind the song. ““Ross was filming a movie and he usually starts the melodies while I’m doing more the production side of things and he wasn’t there,” Rocky dished. “I started making this song, because someone wasn’t there to sing and I [just] ended up singing whatever was happening while doing the production side as well.” We’re so glad that fate made this happen because the snippet from “Lay Your Head Down” is one of our favorites!

Rocky didn’t intend to sing lead vocals on the song. “I was basically forced to write this song on my own and sing it because no one else was there. By the time that Ross got back and I played it for him, everyone was like ‘Yo, you have to sing this Rocky’.” It turns out that even Ross wanted Rocky to sing the track. Ross told JJJ his side of the story: “He kept trying to make me sing it and I was like ‘Bro, no way I’m singing this song. It’s your song’.”

Was your jaw on the floor during last night’s Billboard Music Awards, Popmaniacs? Ours definitely were because these celebs rocked some of this season’s best fashion we can’t get enough of! From Gucci to Marchesa, the stars went all out and we have so many favorites, but here are our top five best dressed babes from last night’s show:

1) Vanessa Hudgens: The Billboard Music Award’s host shined on the red carpet wearing a nude-blush gown covered in bows. Designed by Marchesa, the floor-length gown was an absolute show stopper that we want in our closet ASAP!

2) Camila Cabello: Camila brought out some 90s vibes with her strappy lace and red dress on the red carpet. The Jonathon Simkhai floor-length gown was turning heads before Camila’s performance on the Las Vegas stage later that night.

3) Laura Marano: One of our fave Disney girl was wearing a super unique dress we can’t get enough of. The black and sheer top with multi-colored, sequence skirt had us in awe. We love how the Gucci design fit Laura and shined in the lights!

4) Rachel Platten: Rachel had us doing a double take with her beautiful Barbara Bui dress from last night. The one shoulder dress had a geometric and mosaic inspired design we could not get enough of. She topped the outfit with black pumps and high ponytail to make sure the dress had all of the attention. We absolutely LOVE Rachel’s fashion sense and this is definitely one for the books!

5) Ashley Tisdale: The High School Musical alumn was edgy last night with her all black jumpsuit. With a touch of lace at the neckline, Ashley rocked the Tadashi Shoji outfit so well we just can’t stop looking at the photos from the event.

Ever since One Direction decided to take a break, the boys have been super busy working and promoting their solo music. We love the work that they have been creating, especially Niall Horan’s. In a recent interview with Billboard, Niall not only revealed that there will be a One Direction reunion, but that all of the original members will be in it.

Niall seriously reassured us about the band coming back together when he talked about the future reunion and Zayn’s role in it. “When we get back to the band, he’ll be at the forefront again. When it will be, I don’t know. I ­prefer not to do it after I’m 40. I’d prefer the next few years,” Niall said. This is seriously the best news because the boys could perform together and play songs from their original debut album Up All Night with all five original members there. Plus seeing the boys have fun on stage and singing their hearts out would seriously make us the happiest people ever.

Although Niall has been working on his amazing music, that doesn’t mean it’ll keep him from reuniting with the band. “I told my ­managers from the start: When One Direction comes knocking, [forget] what I’m doing. I don’t [care] if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for that. We haven’t even had a ­conversation about how long we think the break will be,” Niall commented. Aww — he is seriously the sweetest guy. We are really happy that Niall has such a passion for the band even though recording his own music is his priority right now.

Knowing a One Direction reunion is in the near future is really exciting. Plus Zayn joining the reunion opens up so many possibilities for their performances together. We can’t wait to see what the guys do when the band gets back together!

Dove Cameron is one of our favorite triple threats on Disney. After showing her singing, acting and dancing skills on Liv and Maddie and Descendants, Dove definitely proved just how talented she is. Although she has been super busy promoting Descendants 2, we hope her next step is to release a solo album. We know an awesome album would definitely include some of her super talented celeb buddies, but here are some artists that we think Dove Cameron needs to collaborate with!

China Anne McClain: China is an amazing singer just like Dove and them working together on a song would be an absolute treat. Dove and China sang “Just Give Me A Reason” by FUN, in a viral video and we were so blown away by the pipes on these two ladies. It would make us so happy to see China featured on Dove’s album.

Sofia Carson: Dove’s Descendants 2 co-star Sofia is an amazing singer like Dove and the two have had duets on the movie but never as just themselves. If they would sound anything like they do on the movie’s soundtrack, it’d be an absolute hit.

Ariana Grande and Garret Clayton: This trio worked together on Hairspray Live and got us hooked on the soundtrack. These powerhouse voices together would make an absolutely amazing song that we would love to hear! We dare you to name a more epic trio. We’ll wait.

Kurt Hugo Schneider is an amazing YouTuber we are absolutely obsessed with! Along with his brother and singing partner Max Schneider, he collabs with awesome artists to create covers of popular songs. We totally went through his channel and are hooked on watching him work with other singers on some of our favorite songs. Here are our five favorite covers from Kurt’s YouTube Channel:

“Say Something,” by A Great Big World: This ballad just got ten times better when Kurt collabed with Victoria Justice. We love that the song is completely re-vamped with the use of a xylophone and just their voices. It’s so nice to hear a completely different version of the song compared to the usual piano duet.

“All of Me,” by John Legend: Zendaya working with Kurt is the best thing we had ever seen. Can we please get more music by Zendaya? Her voice and Max’s meld so beautifully for those harmonies. This cover definitely gave us major chills. These two really should work together more often!

“Sweater Weather,” by The Neighborhood: We were super shocked to see that Kurt worked on a cover with Alyson Stoner. We knew the Camp Rock star was an amazing dancer and actress but she has officially become a triple threat. This acoustic version is an awesome change from the original pop song. Plus we love the sweater changes between these two — super cool!

“The Other Side,” by Jason Derulo: Not only did Kurt cover one of our fave pop songs with Keke Palmer but Jason Derulo himself joined in on the project. Now this is what we call a trio. Keke and Max are perfect in the beginning of the song featuring Jason’s awesome dance moves, but we love that Jason joins in and this video becomes a superstar performance!

“Flashlight,” by Jessie J: Seeing Bethany Mota work on her music with Kurt was super exciting. The beauty YouTube guru has just blown us completely away. This song is perfect for her smooth and beautiful voice. We hope to see more of her singing (and gorgeous fashion) more often on his channel!

We’ve been impatiently waiting for 13 Reasons Why season 2 ever since the news broke that we’d be getting a follow up season! Ready for the best part? Selena shared insider info about the new season. The singer/actress/producer has been hanging out in the writers room and recently dished about what’s in the works. Here’s what she revealed:

The babe gushed to Seattle’s Movin’ 92.5 about the upcoming episodes. “I’m so excited for season 2. I think it’s going to be so exciting because you know, I didn’t expect the first to be as loud if you will? I didn’t expect it to have the reaction that it did. It was amazing, and it was complicated, and there was a lot of stuff that came with it, and I understood what that meant.” Season 1 was definitely complicated but in the best way possible.

Sel revealed that season 2 will have a lot of backstory. “I think for season 2, we elaborate more on some of those questions and the stories and the resolution if you will of what some of these kids have gone through so—and are going through. So it’s exciting. I was in the writers’ room the other day and they’re working so hard and it’s going to come together. I was sitting there at the table, like, ‘Wait, what happened?!’ Almost like freaking out. I’m so excited. It’s going to be great.” We’re having major FOMO thinking about the 13 Reasons Why writers room! We’d absolutely love to sit in and observe one of their meetings.

While we still have yet to receive word about when exactly we can expect to see season 2 premiere, we’re confident that Selena will keep all her fans updated every step of the way. One thing is for sure though — it’s going to be totally worth the wait.

With the announcement of Ariana Grande’s Manchester Benefit Concert and its incredible line up of performers, we are excited to see which songs will be played at the event. Here are some of the songs we hope to hear at the concert this Sunday:

“My Everything,” by Ariana Grande: This song’s harmonies paired with Ariana’s insanely amazing riffs makes it our favorite choice for her to sing at the upcoming event. This ballad has so much emotion that Ariana would definitely give a stellar performance.

“Purpose,” by Justin Bieber: We absolutely love this song by Justin. The acoustic sound is perfect for his voice and is totally different from his other work. We think it would be great to see him perform it live for such a great cause.

“This Town,” by Niall Horan: The way the Irish singer performs this song with so much passion is incredible and we don’t expect any less for Sunday’s performance. Can you imagine if him and Ariana turned this song into a duet? That would be the performance of the year.

“By the Grace of God,” by Katy Perry: “I picked myself back up” and “I looked in the mirror and decided to stay” are the perfect lyrics for this concert. Since this event is about honoring the victims in the tragic event from last week, this is an awesome example of a song to help strengthen and unify those who need to heal.

“Fix You,” by Coldplay: This classic tune by the British rock band is one we think would be a great addition to the lineup of possible songs for the concert. Coldplay is known for writing songs with amazing lyrics and blends of acoustic/rock sound and this song is the perfect example of that.

“Hands of Love,” by Miley Cyrus: This is just one of the many great song possibilities that would showcase the theme of this concert by acknowledging that hand-in-hand we can become stronger from this incident! “In the hands of love, we carry on, stronger than we started” are the lyrics that start out the chorus of Miley Cyrus’ song. This would definitely be a song that could really help those in this time of need.

We know we aren’t the only ones who have been eagerly waiting for Camila Cabello to release more of her new music. Since her absolutely amazing “Crying in The Club” single came out, we’ve been stalking all the major celeb news on the lookout for more work from this talented babe. Luckily, she made all of our dreams come true today because she finally released a collab that is absolutely to die for.

Camila announced on Twitter her incredible feature in the new single “Know No Better” with Major Lazer, Travis Scott and Quavo. This collab has an infectious beat, super awesome vocals from the former Fifth Harmony singer, and amazing lyrics. It’s great seeing Camila work not only on her solo music, but with other passionate artists to make songs that we can’t get enough of. This is totally gonna be this girl’s year to shine!

BTW, did we happen to mention how amazing the music video is? It premiered on YouTube at the same time the single came out and features some crazy awesome adventures that are totally our vacation goals. The lyric music video shows someone carrying papers with the single’s title “Know No Better” written on them in big, bold letters. He is seen posting these signs all over the world in places like New York, London and India. Those are just a few of the many countries they visited to spread the song title posters for this one insane video. They even go SKYDIVING during their fantastic adventure! But our fave part has to be when a Queen’s Guard holds up the sign while maintaining a completely straight face. Now that’s what we call pure dedication.
